In this project I practiced creative idea development, illustration, typography, color, composition, and abstract thinking.
I was able to choose a famous couple and create a book cover based on their "story" for a fictional publishing company named "Penguin Books." I chose the famous couple Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston. There were a few design restrictions: Only allowed three colors, black, white and orange. Had to use the penguin logo. Could not use any actual images of people, only abstract representations.
