For this project we were prompted with coming up with a guide for a topic of our choice. The guide had to include yelp reviews as well as map locations. We were then assigned the task of creating a prototype app made from all of the information we gathered from various assigned explorations to create a fun interactive project. For my guide I chose to create an app that helps you locate local thrift stores in San Diego. This project taught us the importance of user experience when it comes to designing a cohesive interface.
The reason I chose the topic of thrift stores is because I love discovering rare finds. I thought it would be cool if there was an app that could find which stores are near you and also search what styles they have in stock.
